Ceramics, kiln bricks, studio furniture, artist journal, drawings, altered book, sound

Site-specific installation

Home is a ceramic installation composed of bricks, vessels, and sculptural forms arranged within the exhibition space. The work combines kiln bricks, tables, and hand-built ceramic objects, forming a grounded and enclosed environment.

The ceramic elements shift between abstraction and figuration. Barrel-like forms, a body fragment, and a head-like structure appear as containers rather than representations. Surfaces are rigid and heavy, marked by pressure, weight, and heat from the firing process.

Home considers the relationship between shelter and exposure. The installation holds bodily presence without narrative resolution, allowing intimacy, discomfort, and memory to remain embedded in material and spatial arrangement.
